Tonight marks the opening night of a mountain run for the Willie Waldman Project. Joining Waldman on trumpet will be drummer Terry Saffold (Isaac Hayes), bassist Tommy D (Prince, George Clinton) and former Particle guitarist Charlie Hitchcock (Waldman describes Hitchcock as the master guitarist’ who carried the popular LA jam band Particle on his back the last 5 years.) The Willie Waldman Project will be in Denver tonight and tomorrow at Dulcineas and Quixotes followed by shows in Montana and Idaho. As for Hitchcock, the guitarist plans on launching a website in the coming days with additional information regarding his future plans to follow soon.
