Nope not that farmhouse. But, Ween has entered a 200 year old farmhouse to record its next studio album, the first since 2003s Quebec. In a recent post online, Dean Ween said, They are demolishing the building that we’ve been using as a studio/rehearsal space for the last 2 years. We’re now set up in a 200 year old farmhouse. I think it’s like the 4th farmhouse we’ve occupied over the years but we seem to have good luck in them at least. Our plan is to continue writing and recording new tunes while also being more active on the road this year. Probably the earliest we’ll be back on the road will be April. Nothing I’m allowed to confirm just yet but keep an eye on the site for more on this.

Before then, Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz has announced that he will join Scott Metzgers band at New Yorks Freaks Ball Saturday. Since the evenings bill also features Marco Benevento and Joe Russo, one can conservatively wager on a stealth appearance from the bassists Led Zeppelin cover project with the Duo, Bustle in Your Hedgerow.
