As we reported on February 3, Zero will return after a six year absence for three shows at Denvers Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on March 9-11. As we then mentioned, The roster of players will draw on many of those musicians who performed on the groups Chance in a Million record, with a confirmed line-up consisting of Steve Kimock, Greg Anton, Martin Fierro, Liam Hanrahan, Judge Murphy and Pete Sears with Kimock’s son John Morgan joining in on drums. The latest addition to the line-up is Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay. MacKay first performed with Kimock and Anton in the Heart of Gold Band back in the early eighties. As for his take on the reunion, Kimock states, ‘ZERO consciousness returns with props for the audience, respect for the lineage, and love for our brothers and sisters. Dust off those rusty strings just one more time, relax, participate, enjoy, and in the words of the late great guitarist and Zero band member John Cipollina, ‘thanks for letting us pee in your pool.’ ‘
