Beginning next Thursday, March 23, Steel Train will tour into the south (including a few dates opening for the North Mississippi Allstars) as the quintet routes towards an appearance at the Langerado Music Festival. On the Saturday night of Langerado, the group will perform a late, late night show at Alligator Alley in nearby Oakland Park, FL (technically the show starts at 1 am on Sunday morning). Steel Train likely will hit the stage at the Alley after the early Langerado Late Night shows (following the festival proper where music ends at 9 pm) and all for the princely sum of five dollars.

The group will then return home to New York City to begin a series of residencies. The first will take place at Manhattans Piano’s starting on March 26 and continue for a month of Sundays The next day Steel Train will travel to Boston for four weeks of Monday shows at Harpers Ferry. From there the band will head down to Baltimore’s 8×10 Club for the first of three consecutive Tuesday shows.
