This weekend, Sound Tribe Sector 9 will be performing a benefit show in Santa Cruz. This will be the group’s final U.S. apperance until its spring tour and will help to support Mariposa’s Art, a non-profit organization that provides after-school art and music programs, community workshops, and mural painting programs that focus on developing leadership skills and addressing key health issues. The program assists At Risk Youths in the Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties, and the quintet has affirmed, This is something that is very very important to the band. Art and music should be the last place where budget cuts exist and we are doing what we can to pick up where our goverment leaves off. Please come support this wonderful organization, we know ya’ll will, peace… The show will take place on Saturday at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz.
