Hot Buttered Rum, the String Cheese Incident, Sound Tribe Sector 9 and New Monsoon are among the artists who have donated tickets, prizes, photos and memorabilia for an online auction memory of Missy Baron. A longtime friend of the burgeoning Bay Area music scene, Baron passed away on January 11, 2006 due to a car accident. All proceeds from the auction will benefit a scholarship fund for Barons two godchildren, who recently lost their mother, Lily, to cancer. The charitable auction, which will run until February 28, can be accessed at http://happybrigade.com/auction/..
