After performing with a number of their Allman Brothers Band cousins at the Wanee Festival, Govt Mule will hit the road for an extensive tour. The quartet will kickoff the headlining portion of its spring outing at Winston-Salem, NCs Millennium Center on April 18. From then until May 3, Govt Mule will barnstorm clubs and theaters throughout the east coast and Midwest, pausing for an appearance at Vanderbilt Universitys Rites of Spring Music Festival on April 22. The Mule will also play a number of summer dates, including a series of support dates for the Dave Matthews Band and a headlining appearance at Wakurusa. In other Warren Haynes-news, the guitarist has confirmed that he will return to New Orleans this spring for a solo acoustic performance at the Fairgrounds.
