Following his departure from Phil & Friends, Jimmy Herring began focusing his energies on a songwriting collaboration with the Codetalkers’ Bobby Lee Rodgers. The pair will bring the resulting music to the road for a week of shows in late May. Herring’s longtime Aquarium Rescue Unit bandmate Jeff Sipe also is taking an active role in the proceedings, along with Mark Van Allen and Neal Fountain. The five will travel throughout the south beginning on May 26 at the Pour House in Charleston, SC and at Smilefest in lake Toxaway, NC. A studio recording also is in the works, as Herring reveals in an interview to run soon on Jambands.com.
