The latest Mimi Fishman Foundation online charity auction focuses on Phish memorabilia. This is certainly fitting as the foundation is named for the late mother of Jon Fishman (and directs funds to many of her favorite charities, including the American Glaucoma Society). Indeed, the drummer has donated pieces of drum kits that he used in the studio and on the road over the past few decades.

Fishman explains, ‘Since Phish broke up I’ve finally gotten around to going through all the piles of drum equipment I’ve accumulated over the years and setting aside the items I no longer need or will ever use again. There have been a lot of opinions about what I should do with them one way or another, but it’s always been clear to me the best thing I could do would be to auction it off through my mothers foundation to help raise money for those she would have been happy to support.
The auction will conclude on April 23. Proceeds will benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children With Visual Impairments, VSA Arts of Vermont and the National Braille Press
