On Saturday, Moon Boot Lover founder/original Jammys host Peter Prince performed at Utica, NYs Eclectric Company. Late in the second set, Woodenspoon mandolin player Jay Barady and former Jerkwater Ruckus percussionist/vocalist Rich Lemire took the stage for almost an hour, joining Prince for an improvisational jams surrounding versions of ‘Ali’, ‘ T.E. McGuire’ and ‘NYC,’ as well as covers of the traditional ‘Travelin’ Shoes’ and Freddie King’s ‘Goin’ Down.’ Barady will return to the Electric Company this Wednesday for an acoustic show with moe.‘s Al Schnier. Prince will hit the road this Saturday for a solo acoustic performance at Great Barrington, MAs Club Helsinki. A day later, he will offer a pair of performances with Moon Boot Lover: an afternoon set at Albanys Green Living Festival and Saturday at St. Lawrence University’s Java Barn.
