Former New Groove of the Month Bockman has pulled a Crazy Horse or a Band (take your pick), backing noted singer/songwriter Joe Stickley for a series of Midwest dates. Dubbed Joe Stickley’s Blue Print, the paired performers will appear at St. Louis, MO’s Vintage Vinyl on April 30, promoting their second album, The Eagle and the Pearl. A few weeks later, Joe Stickley’s Blue Print celebrate its CD’s release with a party at St. Louis’ the Pageant, with Bockman pulling double duty and performing a set under its own name as well. Joe Stickley’s Blue Print will also be on hand at Bockman’s annual summer festival, Salem, MO’s Euphio Campout, on August 4. As for Bockman proper, the group will appear next at Edwardsville, IL’s Stagger Inn on April 20.
