The Allman Brothers Band will change things up on its annual summer tour this summer. With Derek Trucks heading to Europe in July to perform with Eric Clapton in July, the Allman Brothers Band will split its summer outing into two-legs: June and August. Beginning with a June 16 performance at Cincinnati, OHs Riverbend Music Center, the Allman Brothers Band will play dates in Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Bristow, VA, Wantagh, NY and Atlantic City, NJ through June 30. The Derek Trucks Band will open most dates, with Oteil & the Peacemakers supporting on June 17 in Chattanooga as well. On August 11, the Allman Brothers Band will regroup for a month of additional dates, with both the Derek Trucks Band and Oteil and the Peacemakers supplying support duties on most dates. In addition, the Allman Brothers Band and the Derek Trucks Band will linkup with Tom Petty for a handful of performances in Hartford, CT, Saratoga Springs, NY, Buffalo, NY and Pittsburgh, PA.

From August 22-29, Govt Mule will fill supply lone opening duties, with Yonder Mountain String Band jumping onboard September 1 for the ABBs previously announced Red Rocks appearance.
