On Thursday, Jack Johnson accepted the first Green Apple award at the sixth annual Jammy Awards via video from Hawaii. In Hawaii while hosting his environmentally-conscience Kokua festival, Johnson performed a pair of shows with the likes of Willie Nelson, Ben Harper and ALO. In addition to ALO’s Zach Gill, who has joined Johnson as a fulltime keyboardist, the guitarist also brought out Dan Lebowitz during his set. Harper later appeared with Johnson during his set, adding vocals to ‘Flake’ and ‘Two Hands.’ Nelson then helped the soulternative singer/songwriters close out their set with ‘Blue Eyes.’
