Widespread Panic to Play Rare Club Show
Widespread Panic will celebrate the release of its next album, Earth to America, by performing an extremely intimate show at New York’s Irving Plaza on June 13. The jam-titans last performed at Irving Plaza on April 8, 1995, before moving to the larger Roseland Ballroom a few months later. Despite holding around 1,000 patrons, Irving Plaza will host a number of arena bands this spring, including Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Fans who pre-order Earth to America before May 29 will win a chance to see Widespread Panic’s New York performance. From June 12-17, Widespread Panic will also host CD listening parties in rooms across the country.
