The road may not quite go on forever but for Derek Trucks it may feel that way by the years end. The U.S. dates of the Eric Clapton tour have been announced, which means that Trucks will follow his current Clapton tour with Allman Brothers Band shows, followed by another Clapton run, followed by an ABB tour, followed by the latest leg of the Clapton tour (with some Derek Trucks Band dates scattered in there as well). The first confirmed show will take place on September 16 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul and the tour will wrap up on October 21 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena at Jacksonville, FL. Multiple night runs include two shows at New Yorks Madison Square Garden (September 28 and 29) and two nights at the Mohegan Sun Casino Arena in Uncasville, CT (October 6 and 7).
