The Black Crowes will release material from its two infamous lost albums this summer.

In fall of 1993, the Crowes completed more than 30 songs at Los Angeles Conway Studios before descending into an emotional, startlingly heavy creative patch and releasing 1994s amorica. Four years later, after performing on the
Furthur Festival, the Crowes completed another series of studio sessions including takes on the B-side Peace Anyway, plus If It Ever Stops Raining, the title track to 1999s By Your Side. On August 29, the Robinson Brothers will release two-discs of material from these sessions as The Lost Crowes The same day, the bands 1992 home video, Who Killed That Bird Out on Your Window Still will be released on DVD for the first time. The Black Crowes will kickoff its summer tour with the Drive-By Truckers and Robert Randolph on June 10 at the White River Amphitheatre.
