Ryan Adams has been gigging under the radar between tours with his band, the Cardinals. Earlier this month, Adams made a surprise appearance with America at New York’s BB King Blues Club, supplying backing vocals on the group’s hit ‘Horse With No Name.’ Then, this week, the former Heartbreaker performed a stealth show at Manhattan’s Rockwood Music Hall, after attending a performance by Tom Ceraulo. Adams next scheduled performance is a benefit for Arthur Lee at New York’s Beacon Theater on June 23, also featuring Robert Plant, Yo La Tengo, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s Alec Ounsworth and David Johansen, among others.
