Worcester-based trio The Howl will mark the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers album by playing it in its entirety later this week. Last Saturday, the group debuted its interpretation of the album (proceeding from side one’s ‘Brown Sugar’ onward through ‘Moonlight Mile’). The band will offer it up during its first set on Thursday at Burlington, Vermont’s Nectar’s and then again on Friday at Toad in Cambridge, MA. The Howl recently opened a string of dates for Robert Randolph & The Family Band/Dirty Dozen Brass Band and also appeared on bills with the North Mississippi Allstars and George Thorogood.
