Last evening in San Diego, longtime Widespread Panic associate John Keane continued his summer run with band, appearing throughout the course of the evening on both electric guitar and pedal steel. While many Panic fans are hailing this show, which confirms that Keane will stay on with the group this summer beyond its Red Rocks dates, a formal ‘Widespread Wednesday’ is still weeks in the future. Indeed, on July 19 (not July 12 as previously reported), Sirius will celebrate ‘Widespread Wednesday’ as bassist Dave Schools will serve as DJ on the Jam On channel throughout the day.
