Matisyahu goes deep in the MLB Authentic Collection batting cages
Since the MLB announced its All-Star selections last night (wherefore art thou, Francisco Liriano?), it is only fitting that we share the results of a baseball competition that took place in the artist compound at Bonnaroo. Musicians were given a chance to take their swings in the MLB Authentic Collection batting cages with the person connecting on the most pitches winning World Series tickets. The competition closed out in a tie as three hitters went 15 for 15: moe.s Vinnie Amico, Phil Pollard from Band of Humans and Jeremy Plog from Jackie Greene. The grand prize winner will now be determined by a tiebreaker, as each was asked to select the National League team that he thought would win the most games in July with Pollard and Amico and guessing the Mets (19 and 17 games respectively) and Plog selecting with the Dodgers (17).
