On Saturday night the Allman Brothers Band and Bonnie Raitt both appeared at a benefit in Greenwich, CT. The artists helped to raise over a million dollars for the China Care Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Chinese Orphans and ultimately arranging adoptions with American Families. Bonnie Raitt, who performed the opening set, later joined the ABB for the first-time ever during ‘Feel So Bad.’ At the end of the night, Branford Marsalis made a surprise appearance, sitting in during ‘In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed’ and ‘Dreams.’
