Trey and Mike Prove Phriendly

The Phil & Friends/Grab/DUO tour continued to route through the northeast over the weekend, and Phil Lesh extended an invitation for his tour mates to join his band on stage every night. On Friday at the Tweeter Waterfront in Camden, NJ, Trey Anastasio helped Lesh and Co. close out their first set, by appearing for a version of All Along the Watchtower. The next evening at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Homdel, NJ, the guitarist emerged at the close of P&F’s second set for Franklin’s Tower and Going Down The Road, while Mike Gordon added electric banjo to Cumberland Blues and Big River during set one. Last night at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Anastasio stepped up again, contributing to The Wheel, Not Fade Away and Casey Jones at the close of the night. The action continues this evening at New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford.
