2006 may very well be remembered as the summer of multi-band tour packages. The latest batch friends to hit the road for a series of collaboration heavy performances are Umphreys McGee and Galactic, who are currently working their way through the Northeast. Ben Ellman emerged, playing Huey Lewis harmonica parts on Women Wine and Song, as well as Tribute to the Spinal Shaft and Resolution. Umphreys McGee will perform at Northampton, MAs The Pines Theatre at Look Park tonight , before linking-up with Galactic for a performance at New Yorks Central Park SummerStage tomorrow.
