Tomorrow, Santana will kick off an extended US summer tour at San Diego, CA’s Embarcadero Marina Park South, with Anthony Hamilton supplying support duties. The veteran guitarist will then make stops in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Irvine, Santa Barbara, and Marysville, CA, before heading to the east coast for an extended September outing. Santana recently returned home from an international tour, which touched down in both Europe and Japan. During his performance at Italy’s Piazza Napoleone, Santana also brought out his opening act, Susan Tedeschi, for both ‘Taboo/The Calling’ and ‘Gaujira.’ Santana has long championed his opening acts, helping launch such divergent acts as Phish and the Los Lonely Boys to fame.
