Over the weekend, Jazz Aspen Snowmass annual Labor Day Festival took place in the resort villages Town Park. Featuring one of the summers most eclectic lineups, the multi-day gathering boasted sets from Kanye West, Don Henley, Keller Williams, Matisyahu, Susan Tedeschi, Robert Randolph, Oteil and the Peacemakers and Gnappy, among others. In addition, a number of artists performed intimate late-night shows throughout Snowmass, COs maze of clubs and theaters. On Friday, New Monsoon performed at the towns Blue Door venue , inviting Tedeschi onstage for the first time. The veteran singer performed on a number of covers including Bob Dylans Dont Think Twice, Bo Carpers Greenhouse and Marvin Gayes Inner City Blues.
New Monsoon will appear at San Franciscos Golden Gate Park Saturday.
