Particle’s six year anniversary party will take place October 13 at Hollywood’s The Fonda Music Box. Each year the Los Angeles-based group celebrates its anniversary with a theatrical show, which traditionally includes a handful of special guests. Particle performed its first gig billed as Metric October 7, 2000 on a boat traveling around San Francisco.

In other Particle news, the band has contributed a song to video game Scarface: The World is Yours. The band was tapped to record for the project this past summer and delivered ‘American Dream,’ which will be featured throughout the game. It will be released on September 21 and is available for X-Box, PS2, and PSP formats.
