Strangefolk has teamed up with the Wormtown Trading Co. for the groups 10th Annual Garden of Eden Festival this weekend in Greenfield, MA. Other artists scheduled to appear include: Max Creek, Ryan Montbleau Band, Melvin Sparks, Peter Prince & Moon Boot Lover, Gary Backstrom Band, Uncle Billy’s Smokehouse, Rev Tor Band, Scarecrow Collection and Fungus Amungus. Also returning to the event is Strangers Helping Strangers, which at the 2004 Eden (the festival was not held last year due to the health of Strangefolk guitarist Jon Trafton), hosted a food drive which collected over 4,100 items for the Franklin County Community Meals Program. SHS will host a drive once again this year and festivalgoers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate, such as: baby food, baby formula, canned vegetables, canned soup, pasta, sauces, and macaroni & cheese. Donors become eligible to win live recordings of multiple Eden sets, commemorative SHS posters and free tickets to future events.
