A few years back, native Georgia bands Moonshine Still and Perpetual Groove used to delight audiences with their co-billed ‘MoonGroove’ shows – lengthy events featuring the complementary music of these two bands. Now that their popularity has grown and music matured, the two bands are rejoining forces for a few ‘MoonGroove’ dates this fall, starting with a gig at Revolution Hall in Troy, New York this coming Friday night, and their paths will cross again in Columbia, Missouri on October 11. Moonshine will open both of these shows. These two Georgia bands will also headline a home state festival in Milledgeville on November 4. Tonight Perpetual Groove will perform at The Paradise in Boston, and they are offering ‘An Evil Evening With Perpetual Groove’ at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse on Halloween. Moonshine Still will appear at the Mexicali Blues Cafn Teaneck, New Jersey tomorrow night and they have confirmed a two night New Year’s run at Nashville Station in Macon, Georgia.
