The Disco Biscuits are back at full force and fall 2006 looks to be the

group’s busiest season in some time. On November 14 the quartet will release
yet another live album, Rocket 3, drawn from its famed
2004 New Year’s Eve performance. Originally intended to be part of the Biscuits
previous live disc, _ The Wind at Four to Fly _ (which also offers music from
the group’s 2004 New Year’s Eve run), Rocket 3 consists of a 30
minute version of ‘Magellan,’ as well as ‘Frog Legs,’ ‘Crickets’ and ‘Hope.’
The Biscuits have also filled in the gaps between their Halloween and
Thanksgiving performances. The month long trek will take the quartet to a
number of cities, including Ithaca, Northampton, Baltimore, Buffalo, Cleveland, Denver, Boulder,
Memphis and Atlanta. Looking ahead, the group plans to confirm a handful
of additional dates, as well as its New Year’s Eve run. The band is
currently in the studio working on their fifth studio album and may very well
debut some new material when they play Lexington, VA’s Washington and Lee
College on October 19.
