Bassist Junior Ruppel has parted ways with Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons. A public statement on the groups website says, After 11 years with the Jackmormons he has decided to head off in other directions. While we are sad he has to go, we wish him only the best in whatever he does. Ruppel will be replaced by Seismic bassist Jason Rappaport on the groups upcoming tour. The Jackmormons will perform Friday at Nashville, TNs Municipal Auditorium.

In other news, Jerry Joseph & Jackmormons will celebrate New Years Eve for the third year in row in Costa Rica. The Jackmormons will hold court in Costa Rica from December 30-January 2, with December 31 festivities held at the Mango Real.
