Following its sold-out screening this past weekend at the Woodstock Film Festival, Wetlands Preserved has just been selected for the Ashville Film Festival. The event will take place from November 9-12, with the documentary on the New York City nightclub to appear twice on Friday November 9. The film is slated for a special 2PM afternoon screening followed by its formal festival slot that night at the Asheville Community Theater (10:30 PM).

Wetlands Preserved incorporates archival footage, soundboard recordings and the efforts of a dozen digital animators to chronicle the clubs tenure from February 1989 through September 2001. The film features music from Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Ben Harper, Spearhead, 311, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Spin Doctors, Fishbone, Agnostic Front and many additional artists.
