The Ryan Montbleau Band is currently in the Southland, where it opened a pair of North Carolina shows this past weekend for the New Riders of the Purple Sage. On Saturday at the Marrz Theater in Wilmington, New Riders’ pedal steel guitarist Buddy Cage joined the band for a version of Montbleau’s ‘Under the Gun.’ This closes out the NRPS tour which picks up again on November 15th with a show at the Stone Church in Newmarket, NH. Meanwhile, former New Groove of the Month, the Ryan Montbleau Band, resumes its tour this evening with a show in Atlanta, GA at Smith’s Olde Bar.
