Club Europa is a converted Polish dance club in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that just started hosting rock shows. Last night the club delivered a triple bill of the Adam Deitch Band, the Sam Kininger Band and Banooba (a group which is featured on the latest Relix sampler). Kininger, who has performed off and on with Soulive over the years, welcomed his former bandmate Krasno to the stage during his set for Heading Home, and then for No War For Oil with Deitch joining in as well (Deitch, Krasno and Kininger all are members of Lettuce). Then, before the Adam Deitch Band began its set, Krasno and Deitch performed briefly as a duo, with Lettuce keyboardist Jeff Bhasker then appearing as well. Finally, during the Adam Deitch Band performance, which featured Krasno on guitar, area resident Matisyahu stepped up for some freestyling.
