Last night Widespread Panic kicked off a three-night stand at Austins Backyard. Longtime Widespread Panic collaborator saxophonist Randall Bramblett opened the groups festivities with his solo band. During Widespread Panics second set, Bramblett returned for a version of Robbie Robertsons Chest Fever (which Widespread Panic recently recorded for a Band tribute album). The southern jam-kings will return to the Backyard tonight.
