Veteran Widespread Panic guitar technician Sam Holt has spent a good chunk of the fall on the road with his new band Outformation, including a handful of dates supporting Umphreys McGee. While in Widespread Panics home state performing at Atlantas The Tabernacle Saturday, Umphreys McGee invited Holt out for Thin Air during its first set. Some additional theatrics also ensued during the groups cover of Kiss God Gave Rock & Roll to You, with the members of the band leaving the stage one-by-one until only keyboardist Joel Cummins remained. Umphreys McGee will perform at New Yorks Nokia Theater on December 1 .
