Sam Champion will open for the Benevento/Russo Duo throughout its New Years Eve run. The rising New York group, which toured with fellow post-jam acts the Slip and Apollo Sunshine earlier this year, supported the Duo on their tour with Mike Gordon last December. The groups will share the stage December 29 (Atlantic City), December 30 (Lancaster, PA), and December 31 (Troy, NY). Marco Benevento will continue his residency at New Yorks Tonic tonight, with Joe Russo, Bobby Previte, and Mike Dillon serving as his guests.
