Over the weekend Atlantas Fox Theatre hosted String Cheeses first two incidents since Bill Nershi announced his impending departure. On Friday the group nodded to the special occasion by running through its entire 1997 studio debut Born On The Wrong Planet during its second set. The group returned to the Fox a night later, debuting a handful of songs including Bill Monroes Lonesome Wind Blues, Bob Dylans Meet Me In The Morning, and the original Farther (a never aired number from SCIs 2005 album One Step Closer). Lonesome Wind Blues, in many ways, offered the evenings thesis: And all that I have left is just a memory/And it always haunts me with a breeze. Nodding to Atlantas hip hop roots, String Cheese also brought out Arrested Developments Speech for a vocal jam during People Everyday. String Cheese Incident will perform at San Franciscos Concourse Exhibition Center on December 30 .
