In conjunction with its New Year’s Eve run, Railroad Earth is hosting food drives in the four cities it will visit, to benefit area food banks. Anyone who provides at least one nonperishable food item, will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a commemorative New Years Eve poster signed by artist Nadina Simon and the band. It then travels to Brooklyns Southpaw, the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA and Philadelphias Trocadero on New Years Eve. Moreover, as part of the ongoing food drive hosted by the 9:30 Club, anyhow who brings food items, Gently Used clean clothing, or a $5 donation on that night will be entered into a drawing to win free admission to every 9:30 Club show in 2007.
