Last Night, Nancy Pelosi was sworn in as the Speaker of The House and became the first woman to take that post. The evening was celebrated with many performances and included two sets from Your House Band. After being introduced by Richard Gere, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, Bruce Hornsby, Bill Kreutzmann, Warren Haynes, and Mike Gordon took the stage for two energetic sets. The first was highlighted by a Shakedown Street, with Haynes on vocals along with Truckin, and Touch of Grey with Weir at the mic. The second set included Bruce Hornsbys The Way It Is, as well as Come Together and U.S. Blues Gordon, Haynes and Hornsby trading verses. Ms Pelosi had the crowd up and dancing when Wyclef Jean joined the band for a spirited version of Iko Iko. The evening closed with everyone on stage performing Carole Kings You’ve Got A Friend.
