Over the weekend Zero performed three-shows at Denvers Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom as part of the venues four year anniversary party . The group drew from a number of sources, dipping into the Jerry Garcia songbook, Steve Kimocks catalogue, and Zeros repertoire. Though supergroup in itself, Zero also invited a number of guests onto the stage last night. On the Golden Road, longtime Denver-based Grateful Dead musician Jake Wolf emerged on talking drum, before Cecil ‘P-Nut’ Daniels on MIDI saxophone for Franklin’s Tower. Miles Kimock also played tambourine on the latter number. Zero will perform at San Franciscos Fillmore Auditorium on February 2.
