Big in Japan, the improv-oriented trio spun from Lake Trout , will enter the studio next month to begin work on its first album. The trios studio plans are part of a busy spring in the studio for the Baltimore, MD-based group. Meanwhile guitarist Ed Harris is playing guitar and singing with the group Blonde Hair Blue Eyes. The group is working on its first studio tracks with fellow Lake Trout guitarist Woody Ranere (who recently produced the Benzos new record and is writing music for film and television). Big in Japan will appear at Baltimore, MDs The Ottobar Friday and Harrisburg, PAs ABC Brewing Company Saturday.
