Rich Robinson and Luther Dickinson will head back to New York City with their Circle Sound project on March 17. The group, which also features Sven Pipien on bass, Rob Clores on keyboards and Bill Dobrow on drums, will perform at Irving Plaza. Last month when the quintet debuted at Bowery Ballroom, Patti Smith made a guest appearance, and it is quite possible that any number of guests might do the same during the St. Patrick’s Day gig. At present, Robinsons Black Crowes have yet to confirm a 2007 date, although the group has announced it will release a new studio record later this year.
