The Benevento/Russo Duo will open the second annual Green Apple Music and Arts Festival with a pair of acoustic performances at New Yorks Tonic on April 19.
As previously reported, Green Apple will expand to three cities this spring: New York, Chicago and San Francisco. The Duo will perform two shows at the intimate New York venue as part of Green Apples official kickoff party. The performers have also added an additional Bustle in Your Hedgerow show May 11 at San Franciscos The Independent. This gig marks the Led Zeppelin cover bands first Bay Area appearance since 2004.
Look for an official Green Apple lineup on Relix.com, Jambands.com and GlobalRhythm.net early next week. Unlike last year, the Jammy Awards will not take place during Green Apple (the annual award ceremony is tentatively scheduled for fall 2007).
