As we reported on Friday, former New Groove of the Month U-Melt celebrated their 400th show over the weekend at Revolution Hall in Troy, NY. As with their first show at the venue back in March of 2004, U-Melt invited their longtime friend Shannon Lynch (Lynch, Conehead Buddha) to join them on tenor sax for their original ‘Air’. Also, in addition to an infrequent performance of Phish’s ‘It’s Ice’, U-Melt debuted a version of Frank Zappa’s ‘Dancin’ Fool’. The band has released their initial Spring Tour schedule and U-Melt will return to the stage next Friday, March 16, at The Main Pub in Manchester, CT. Shannon Lynch is next scheduled to perform with Lynch on April 5th at Red Square in Albany.
