Peter Prince and Moon Boot Lover routed through New England over the weekend, welcoming some familiar faces to the stage in the process. On Friday night at Nectar’s in Burlington, the bands longtime agent Tom Baggott contributed harmonica, percussion and backing vocals throughout the show. In addition, former MBL keyboardist Jeff Merrow joined the group at Nectars and again the next evening at Portland, Maine’s the Big Easy. The latter show also offered multiple collaborations with members of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, as guitarist Scott Tournet stepped up for a version of ‘Friends’ and later returned, along with Potter and drummer Matthew Burr for a version of ‘Ali’. Afterwards, Moon Boot Lover’s Ben Carle handed over his bass to the Nocturnals’ Bryan Dondero during ‘Crying Won’t Help.’
Peter Prince returns to the stage with an acoustic appearance at snoe.down in Lake Placid, New York on Friday, March 23.
