Steve Kimock will mark the Ides of March with a performance alongside PBS (George Porter Jr., Russell Batiste and Brian Stoltz) at Denvers Cervantes’ Ballroom tonight. The show will kick off a busy weekend for the guitarist, who will also perform at Denver, COs Oriental Theater with his former Zero/KVHW bandmate Bobby Vega this Friday and Saturday. On both nights the pair will be joined by vocalist Ray White and drummer John Molo.

Then, on March 30, Kimock will make a one-off appearance at Fairless Hills, PAs F.O.E. Hall with a group of east coast musicians dubbed Trident. The ensemble features Kimocks drummer son John Morgan, Ween keyboardist Glen McClelland, bassist Gary Balduzzi and guitarist/vocalist Danny ‘Rio’ Degennaro. Like Kimock, Degennaro spent time performing in Kingfish and throughout the San Francisco music scene in the 1970s.
