ALO will release its next studio album, Roses & Clover, on May 1. The quartet, which touched down in North America, South America, Asia, and Europe in 2006, will add Australia to its growing list of continent conquests after making an appearance at Byron Bays East Coast Blues & Roots Music Fest on April 6. The group will then open its North American tour in support of Roses & Clover at San Franciscos The Fillmore on May 5. Finally, ALO will jet to the east coast for a series of dates beginning with an appearance at South Burlington, VTs Higher Ground on May 9.
In other ALO news, guitarist Dan Lebowitz and bassist Steve Adams will spend the rest of March backing singer/songwriter Brett Dennen on his current west coast tour. Dennens short run with the ALO duo wraps up March 31 at San Franciscos Independent. ALO has also made a promo for its new album available online.
