Starting next Friday March 30, Zilla will participate in the Underground Communication Tour. The tour, which will travel through the northwest, also will feature tonal glitch breaks by Bassnectar, the visionary psychedelic puppetry of the Funginears, & the improvisational poetry of Souleye. This evening Zilla co-founder Michael Travis will return to Denvers Fillmore for a show with the String Cheese Incident. However, he will gig with his Zilla bandmates over this weekend, both on Saturday and Sunday. Saturdays show will be a post-SCI gig at Cervante’s with Zilla and DJ Ooah. Then on Sunday during SCI’s day-off from its Winter Carnival tour, Boulder’s Fox Theater will host a night of Zilla-related projects, with EOTO (the live-looping project from Travis and SCIs Jason Hann), SPORQUE (which features Ooah along with Zillas Jamie Janover and Aaron Holstein) as well as Vibesquad (an Aaron Holstein DJ set).
