This evening Widespread Panic will pick up its spring tour with the first of two nights at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO. The tour started over the weekend in Texas and the band introduced new material at its first two shows. On Friday at the Woodlands Pavilion in Woodlands, TX, Smoking Factory, appeared early in the second set and led into a segued stretch that ran through Second Skin, Rebirtha, Little Lilly, Papa’s Home and Chainsaw City. The next evening at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX, the band debuted Shoes On Tight which led into the first-set closer, Climb To Safety.
