Willie Nelson has been added to the San Francisco edition of the Green Apple Music & Arts Festival. The country-rock legend will perform at the famed Fillmore on April 19, helping kick off the multi-day, multi-city festival. A number of other performers will headline the Fillmore throughout Green Apple weekend, including Tea Leaf Green (April 20), Yonder Mountain String Band (April 21), and Stephen Marley featuring Jr. Gong Marley (April 22). As previously reported, the two Marleys will also play a free Green Apple show at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park the afternoon of April 22 alongside Bob Weir and RatDog, the Greyboy Allstars, and Martin Sexton. Hip-hop sensations Apache, Genghis Khan, California Love, Shotwell, and DJ Primo also will now perform at San Franciscos Elbo Room as part of Green Apple on April 20.
